Shark-tour flight R45,190 per helicopter for up to 4 passengers, not per person, excluding shark-viewing boat charges. Whale-watching (in season) is quoted separately.
This is the big south-coast day out. The flight crosses the mountains at Sir Lowry’s Pass, passes over the farms of Elgin and the towns of Hermanus and Stanford, and lands at Gansbaai.
There you transfer to a boat to view, or cage-dive with, the great white sharks the area is known for. In season you can choose a whale-watching trip off Hermanus instead. The return flight follows the coastline back to Cape Town.
